Fey's hormonal moment

Well, it's been rough couple of months, but we're back :P
Sooo much has happened. The story I wanna tell today though, is the one of Fey Fey.

A couple of months ago, all was quiet in the house, when suddenly the Fey decides it is time to grow up. In the middle of the quiet night, I'm lying in my bed when this kitten next to me goes "mreoooww", just once. I remember thinking:" That's odd, Fey doesn't usually use verbal signals." And all went quiet again. The next morning though, I get up to feed the colony when Fey mreows at me loudly..and again....and again. Not half an hour later, she has made her point. Mreow pretty much equaled "get me a hot young stud, now!" During the day, she gets worse. I called the clinic which were luckily able to get me an appointment in two days. In the evening, she starts rolling around on the carpet like a mad kitten. It was like having Lulu and Prinny in heat all at the same time! Luckily, she went from mreowing to prrring and rolling by the evening, so we could go to bed in a relatively quiet house.

That night, I hear the Fey mrrrooing and I ignore it. At some point though, I start hearing this sound going 'Mrr mrrr mrr.' I wake up, go look at her. And what I see at that point was just...surreal. I'm looking at this Fey, all horny and twirly on the floor, and a Falkie looking at her very confused. He tries to lick her face, she mrrrs, he tries to play with her, she mrrss some more at him. Finally, he had decided to get on top of her, since that's what she wanted, bite her neck...but then he kinda got confused as to what to do next. I'm standing there in disbelief, looking at a neutered male cat which had never shown any interest in Lulu when she went all horny and mad, when suddenly a thought occurs to me: "Mmm, I guess men of all species need to be taught how to do this properly." It didn't help that I'd seen another species, nl horses, at it a week before, and that the stallion had been an inexperienced one as well.

So I'm standing there, at three in the morning, staring in disbelief at this confused neutered male cat and this totally sexually frustrated young female kitten. I'd never even heard of a neutered cat doing this, especially not one that had been neutered before he could get any practice at this behaviour. So I took action. I decided to divide the lovers and lock Fey Fey up in the front so her mrrring wouldnt wake me up anymore, and keep Falk in the back. However, this was easier said then done. Prinny and Falk, mixed in with Lulu is a bad combo, and locking Arwen out automatically leads to sad mewing and a scratched up door. It took me about half an hour, but I managed to divide them into survivable groups and went back to bed. All the while, my boyfriend slept through the entire ordeal.

So in the morning, I wake up to...wouldn't you know it: "Mrr mrr mrr". My boyfriend who had slept plenty and therefore had gotten up before me, didn't know about the problem, and the two lovebirds were going at it in front of my bed. I stare at the end of the bed, where a Falk is learning slowely. He is already on top of her, bit her neck and figured out he 's supposed to make some sort of hipmovement. He then got off to try again. I intervened, locked them in two different rooms and called the vet. He explained that depending on the personality of the male and the circumstances of seduction, this could happen. Basically, if you have a macho male, or in our case a very persistent female, the temptation can become too big. Fey Fey's bond with Falk had been so strong that she automatically and relentlessly bugged him in her hour of need, so he just wanted her to shut up and tried to make her happy in order to do so.

According to the doctor the risk was minimal. Falk is shooting blanks anyways and the only real danger was an infection in the uterus because of the introduction of a 'foreign object', aka the Falk.

Needless to say that Fey Fey has lost her innocent look forever, to me. My god, sometimes I'm so happy NOT to be a cat.
