That's right. For the past couple of weeks, Fey-Fey has been learning from Falkie, since he doesn't hiss at her as the others do: first it was how to use the hiding space of the bed to your advantage, then it was lying on the bed during the day, and since a couple of nights, when he joins me in the bed, she will run around a bit too and sleep at the edge of the bed (and get kicked occasionally unfortunately).
This night however...She again followed suit and jumped with him into the bed, but doesn't stay at the end of the bed. I woke up when I realized that...hang on..that's a different kind of fur than Falkie has and besides...he is lying on the other side! Then Fey and Falkie decided to take over the bed. He laid down against me, and she took over my pillow. Meanwhile Falkie had noticed I was awake and did his morning 'Purrrr'. My boyfriend next to me started to wake up and roll around. Falkie and Fey got into an argument and started a bit of 'battlefield bed' games. Eventually, Falkie left and Fey stayed. I got her off my pillow and carefully placed her right under it, in my arms. No other cat, except maybe Arwen when she is in a good mood and Lulu when she is in her clingy mood, accepts this. Fey purred like there was no tomorrow. In the next half hour, I got cuddles to death, and my boyfriend got purred awake (that thing really has a motor running inside her I think!)

Then, Falkie came back to claim his place and Fey got playful...on my back. So this time my back became the battlefield, which ended with Fey sliding down my back and inbetween me and my boyfriend. After that, I dunno where she ended up, but I fell back asleep. Man..I am so not awake right now.
Though it is interesting from a distance that she has made this break-through, and that she does have a definite need for attention, it just doesn't feel that way when you're experiencing it :P It was also interesting to see that she is copycatting Falkie in everything, as he too only cuddles at night or when we are in the couch. When we are on our feet he runs, as he might get medicated then. We'll see if this break-through will continue in daylight as well ;)
For that matter, last night before we went to bed, Fey finally ventured into the kitchen...and beyond! Up too this point she had always been panicky when put in the kitchen as the other cats weren't willing to allow her there just yet. This time she didn't care. She was on a mission. I had fed her before I'd left for my friends, but she hadn't eaten much. I still had to feed her when she decided she was too hungry to wait.
She walked up to the adults foodbowl( which is in the living room, 1 meter from the couch where we were sitting) and had some dinner there. It was an odd sight. Suddenly my boyfriend goes...isn't that the Fey in the kitchen??? We were pleasantly surprised that we finally had all of our kittens in the front of the appartment. Now that I know she can do that, I aint feeding her anymore. Let her come and ask for it, since she now dares too.. it will help her adapt faster as well. Once we are past this though, she will get her kitten food again, as she is still growing and the adult food doesn't have enough calcium in it.
