The miracle that is our Lulu

Lulu10 I just picked up our Lulu from the vets. Apparently they found a tinsy tiney bit of ovarian tissue after all. And how come they did see it this time? Because there was a cyste of about a 1cm on it! Normally, that amount of ovarian tissue is not exactly capable of pulling a stunt like this, you know, going in heat with just a weee bit of tissue left. But then our Lulu has always been headstrong. When she does something, she goes the whole nine yards if need be, and clearly her bodily tissue shares that characteristic.

On top of that her uterus didn't look all that grand after all the being in heat and getting 'the pill'. They were going to remove it anycase to make sure she wouldn't go back into heat. They did find the responsible tissue, but since the uterus wasn't really looking peachy keen, they decided to remove it anyways.

So now its a matter of waiting for her to recover. Since the surgery was a little more intense, she will be knocked out for a while, and she will take longer to recover. Sigh...I really hope this was the last time. Poor kitty, she has been on that operating table three times now and she aint even four years old.
